The 49ers (1-1) face the Rams (0-2) in Week 3 of the NFL season with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m. ET at So-Fi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. Here's an early look at the 49ers vs. Rams odds, spread and total for this Sunday afternoon matchup.

The 49ers are favored by 7.5 points over the Rams in the latest NFL odds for Week 3, with the over/under set at 44.

San Francisco 49ers

A rough week that started with Christian McCaffrey landing on IR got even rougher after San Francisco fell to the Vikings, 23-17. The team’s individual stats were impressive as Brock Purdy threw for over 300 yards, Jordan Mason ran for 100 and Deebo Samuel caught eight passes for 110. Unfortunately, San Francisco won't have Samuel on Sunday as he's set to miss a couple games with a calf strain. Meanwhile, the defense couldn’t get the stops it needed and gave up several chunk plays. The biggest was a 97-yard touchdown by Justin Jefferson that put Minnesota up 10-0 and put San Francisco behind the eight-ball.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are severely shorthanded as they look to avoid an 0-3 start to begin their season. The team’s offensive line is decimated and they’re without Puka Nacua, who is on IR with a knee injury. Things got worse in Sunday’s blowout loss to the Cardinals as Cooper Kupp was forced out of the game with an ankle injury. He'll miss a few weeks and a potential IR candidate. Meanwhile, the Rams defense has given up the most yards in the NFL with teams averaging 426.0 yards per game against them.
