  • Will Davante Adams go back-to-back games without a touchdown, and can Deebo Samuels continue to be a rushing threat?
  • Our expert breaks down the answers to those questions in his three-leg parlay for Packers vs. 49ers in the Divisional Round.

My same-game parlay for Saturday night will primarily be centered on the principles I laid out in my preview that you can read here. After not cashing some tickets with longer odds during Super Wild Card Weekend, I'll be opting for a shorter card this time around. As a result, I've identified three plays that, when combined, have a value of +414 odds.

Should you bet same-game parlays? We outline all the factors you should consider when betting on same-game parlays here.

49ersPackers Same-Game Parlay

49ers Alt Line +7.5 (-160)

I love the idea of buying this line up to 7.5 and grabbing a bit more insurance. With two extra points to push the spread over a key number, we're still getting odds that are lower than 2:1. It's worth noting that the 49ers have outright victories over the Packers in the last three playoff meetings between these teams. Historically, underdogs have also performed well in this round of the playoffs, as they're 41-29-1 for +9.56 units in this spot.

Davante Adams Anytime TD (-145)

I don't expect Green Bay to be shutout on Saturday. Thus, Adams remains an excellent option to score a touchdown. While the All-Pro wideout has 11 touchdowns on the season, he's coming off a game in which he didn't get into the end zone.

Quarterbacks generally don't like to go back-to-back games without giving their star players some touchdown love. Per NFLsavant.com, Adams ranks third in the league with 31 red-zone targets, and he's tied for second with nine red-zone touchdowns.

Deebo Samuel Over 38.5 Rushing Yards (-122)

The 49ers were 3-5 when head coach Kyle Shanahan had an epiphany to get the ball into Samuel's hands by any means necessary. That led to more touches for Samuel behind the line of scrimmage as the All-Pro standout essentially created a new position in the NFL overnight.

Question to Deebo Samuel: “If you were to meet someone and they asked you what position you played, what would you say?”

Answer: “Wide back. Wide receiver playing running back.”

With the temperature expected to be in single digits, Samuel could play a significant role in the running game against a Packers team that ranks 28th in run defense DVOA.
