Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has be ruled out of Monday night's NFL playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to reports. It's a huge blow for an Eagles team that suffered multiple key injuries just before the season ended.
#Eagles WR A.J. Brown will be ruled out against the #Buccaneers, sources say. He worked to try to get ready but won’t make it. Should Philly advance, he could be available for the Divisional Round.

Brown injured his knee in the Eagles' regular season finale against the Giants, but there was initial hope that he could push through and play in Monday's game. Eagles wide receiver Devonta Smith missed the season finale with with an ankle injury and quarterback Jalen Hurts took a nasty hit to his finger, which prevented him from throwing the ball early in the week.
Both Hurts and Smith practiced in full Friday, but Brown is by far Hurts' go-to receiver leading the team with 158 targets, 106 catches and 1456 yards this season. According to Action Network Director of Predictive Analytics, Sean Koerner, Brown is worth approximately one point to the spread.
The Eagles opened as 3.5-point favorites before Brown went down last week and books adjusted the line to Eagles -1.5 after the game. The line got back up to -3 as recently as Saturday morning, but has fallen a half point since the news came out.
