Ahead of Monday Night Football and the conclusion of NFL Week 2, here are the three best Falcons vs. Eagles player props available before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN on Monday, Sept. 16.
Sam Farley's 3 Falcons vs. Eagles Player Props
- Bijan Robinson Longest Rush Over 15.5 Yards (-115, DraftKings)
- Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown (-133, Caesars)
- Kirk Cousins Under 231.5 Passing Yards (-115, BetRivers)
Bijan Robinson Longest Rush Over 15.5 Yards (-115)
We didn’t see Bijan Robinson find the end zone for the Falcons against the Steelers, but it was refreshing to see the team lean into their brilliant running back. He had 18 carries for 68 yards and got plenty of work in the passing game too. With Kirk Cousins struggling, we should see continued heavy use for Robinson.
Against the Eagles last week, we saw Packers RB Josh Jacobs rip off two huge runs, of 22 and 32 yards. Robinson is far more dynamic and elusive than Jacobs and should be able to pull off a big run here if given the opportunity.
Pick: Bijan Robinson Longest Rush Over 15.5 Yards (-115)
Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown at -133
Last week, we saw Saquon Barkley in the endzone three times with two rushing scores and one receiving touchdown. He saw a heavy workload with 24 carries and two targets, instantly looking like he’s added another dimension to this offense. Now, he faces a Falcons defense who are solid at stopping the run but we shouldn’t be worried about Barkley’s ability to score.
Barkley is a supreme talent with his shiftiness making him a viable anytime touchdown pick whichever defense he’s playing. Last week, he also got nine rushes or targets in the red zone — an incredible volume — and it has to show the team’s confidence in his ability. If the Eagles get into the red zone, I can easily see Barkley getting an opportunity.
Pick: Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown (-133)
Kirk Cousins Under 231.5 Passing Yards at -115
Week 1 was worrying for Cousins and Falcons fans with the quarterback completing just 16-of-26 passing attempts for 155 yards and two interceptions. It’s not what we’ve come to expect from Cousins through the years, but this is a 36-year-old recovering from a torn Achilles.
Whether Cousins' play was still a physical issue or perhaps a mental one is still unclear. What's evident, though, is that the team doesn’t have confidence in his health yet. Cousins only played one snap under center all game and he looked like he had a different throwing posture when in shotgun, as if he was avoiding putting any pressure on his right leg. That might explain why he didn’t attempt a pass more than 20 yards down the field.
The Eagles pass rush isn’t as scary as the Steelers, but it’s not that bad and we should continue to fade Cousins until we see evidence that he or his team have confidence in his health.
Pick: Kirk Cousins Under 231.5 Passing Yards (-115)
