The Baltimore Ravens (2-2) and Cincinnati Bengals (1-3) will kick off the Sunday afternoon slate of NFL Week 5. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET from Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati on CBS, and the game can be streamed on Paramount+, YouTube TV and other streaming platforms.
The Ravens are consensus 2.5-point favorites over the Bengals (Ravens -2.5) after the spread opened at Bengals -1.5 before the season began. The over/under is 48.5 after opening at 46.5. The Ravens are -135 favorites to win outright, with the Bengals are +115 to pull off the upset.
The Ravens won 35-10 last week over the Bills and are rolling. Lamar Jackson is playing like an MVP while Derrick Henry is averaging 120 rushing yards per game after a huge performance against Buffalo. The Bengals won 34-24 over the Panthers for their first win. Cincinnati has scored at least 25 points in three straight weeks, led by Joe Burrow's 7 touchdowns and 1 interception this season.
Let's get into my Ravens vs. Bengals predictions and my NFL picks for Week 5.
Ravens vs. Bengals Prediction and Picks
Spread
This is a spot I have to play with a team coming off of a big win and then being installed as a road favorite the next week in a divisional matchup. I love the Bengals if you can get them at +3, but I'd also bet +2.5 if that's the best you can get.
Moneyline
I'm not betting either moneyline. I'm focused on taking the points with the Bengals.
Over/Under
I don't have a pick on this game total.
My Pick: Bengals +2.5

Ravens vs. Bengals NFL Week 5
How does the public not keep coming in on the Ravens at less than a field goal? They’re coming off of a huge win over the Bills and are back to .500 after a pair of close losses to start the season, while Cincinnati just won its first game of the season last week.
Lamar Jackson is 24-7 as an underdog of three or fewer points. It’s a great spot for him and for the Ravens to win their first divisional game of the season.
We’re playing the Bengals, though. What we’re backing is that Cincinnati will figure out this Ravens offense and make it one-dimensional. Everything I’ve read and seen says you need to load the box and try to make Jackson beat you with his arm, and I expect defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo will have a plan in place to do that.
Anarumo is a veteran of the game and sees Jackson twice every season. I could see Cincinnati avoid being thrown off by the misdirection that this Ravens running game brings to the table.
I'm not shocked that this number has come down from Ravens -3 because I knew the professionals would come in on the key number. The shocking part of it is that it moved across the board, so all sportsbooks are inviting money on the Ravens. That means books have taken their position on this game.
We love playing these spots with a home divisional ‘dog. I love it at Bengals +3 and would recommend waiting to see if you can get that number. If you can’t, play the 2.5.
Pick: Bengals +2.5
