Keenan Allen

Over 78.5 Receiving Yards

Now in his 10th season in the NFL, Keenan Allen is still very much amongst the best wideouts in the league. Not only that, but the 31-year-old has had a good season so far, finding the endzone four times in six games and already recording 574 yards.

His receiving yard line for this one sits at 83.5 and I’m confident that we’ll see him go over against a Bears defense who rank 28th on defensive DVOA. Allen has gone over 83.5 yards in half of his games this year and has hit the over on his total in 4-of-6 matchups.

Pick: Keenan Allen Over 78.5 Receiving Yards (-113)

D.J. Moore

Over 56.5 Receiving Yards

It’s an absolute smash on DJ Moore hitting the Over on his passing yards against the Chargers. Firstly, let’s talk about Moore. Now in his fifth year, this feels like the breakout that all truthers have been waiting for. He’s recorded 636 receiving yards through seven games and already has three 100-plus yard games, including that incredible 230-yard performance against the Commanders.

Last week he only managed 54 yards in his first full game with Tyson Bagent at QB, but while 54 yards isn’t hugely exciting for us, it is exciting to see that he still was targeted nine times, hauling in eight of them. He now faces a Chargers team that is terrible against the pass. Their defense ranks dead last in the NFL in terms of passing yards allowed per game, giving up 310 passing yards per game, which is 36 yards more than their nearest rival. If Moore continues to get fed here, which there is no evidence to suggest that he won’t, we should see him smash his receiving yards total. I’d happily take this line if it moves all the way up to 62 yards.

Pick: D.J. Moore Over 56.5 Receiving Yards

100+ Receiving Yards

We’ll keep this one very brief but in addition to taking the over on Moore’s receiving yards line, we’ll also be having a small sprinkle on Moore to record 100-plus receiving yards. It’s a big price, so we’re only going to have a small wager but given what we’ve seen from the Chargers this season it’s something worth looking into.

Pick: D.J. Moore 100+ Receiving Yards

Tyson Bagent

Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+750)

I think there’s value to be had on Bagent scoring against the Chargers, despite the fact that he's not the Bears QB you'd expect to find yourself betting in this market.

We have a very small sample size in the NFL, but Bagent managed an average of eight yards per carry on his three attempts against the Raiders and while he is by no means a dual-threat QB, it is worth flagging that he scored five rushing touchdowns in his final season at Shepherd.

The Chargers have been relatively solid against the run this year, but despite QBs attempting a combined 21 rushes through six games they’ve allowed three rushing touchdowns to the position. With Ryan Tannehill, Aidan O’Connell and Dak Prescott all finding the endzone this year, it gives me the impression that this could be an area of weakness for the Chargers.

Pick: Tyson Bagent Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+750)
