The Bears (1-0) face the Texans (1-0) in Week 2 of the NFL season with kickoff set for 8:20 p.m. ET at NRG Stadium in Houston. Here's an early look at the Bears vs. Texans odds, spread and total for this Sunday afternoon matchup.

The Texans opened as 6.5-point favorites over the Bears in the latest NFL odds for Week 2, with the over/under set at 46.

Chicago Bears

Chicago rallied from 17 down for a 24-17 Week 1 win, but it was thanks to touchdowns by the defense and special teams.

No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams struggled in his first professional game, completing 14-of-29 passes for just 93 yards and no touchdowns for a 55.7 passer rating. We’ll see how he handles the primetime spotlight as he makes his debut in front of a nationwide audience.

Houston Texans

The Texans began their AFC South title defense with a 29-27 win over the rival Colts thanks largely to newcomer Joe Mixon. The running back was a workhouse, carrying the ball 30 times for 159 yards and a touchdown.

Houston totaled 213 rushing yards, which was 28 more than any other team as of Sunday night. C.J. Stroud did his thing as well, completing 24-of-32 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns.
