Monday Night Football for NFL Week 15 features the Chicago Bears (4-9) and the Minnesota Vikings (11-2). Kickoff from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn., is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and YouTube TV.
Let's get to my Bears vs. Vikings player props and my NFL picks for Monday Night Football.
Sam Farley's Bears vs. Vikings Player Props
- Aaron Jones Over 64.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
- Caleb Williams Over 214.5 Passing Yards (-110)
- Jordan Addison Over 4.5 Receptions (+140)
Aaron Jones Over 64.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Only six teams have given up more rushing yards than the Bears this season, which bodes well for Aaron Jones.
Running backs opposing the Bears have gone over their rushing yard totals for successive weeks. In the past month, we’ve seen Isaac Guerendo rush for 78 yards, David Montgomery and Jahymr Gibbs total for 88 and 87 yards, respectively, and Josh Jacobs tally 76 yards.
These teams met as recently as Week 12, and that game saw Jones rush for a season-high 106 yards.
Given what we’ve seen from him this year, we should see another big Monday performance. Jones has averaged 68 rushing yards per game and should feast against a poor Chicago run defense.
Caleb Williams Over 214.5 Passing Yards (-110)
It’s hard to feel totally confident backing any Caleb Williams prop. He’s been inconsistent in his rookie year, showcasing some elite traits and also some poor mistakes.
That said, there’s one line that does look like a good wager, and that’s over 214.5 passing yards.
He went under that number last week, putting up just 134 yards against the 49ers, but prior to that, he managed to go over 214.5 passing yards in three straight games.
His season average is 211 yards per game, marginally below his total set for Monday, but this Vikings team is giving up passing yards for fun.
Minnesota's defense has allowed the third-most passing yards per game at an average of 250.6, so it’s not hard to see a slight leap from Williams this week.
Jordan Addison Over 4.5 Receptions (+140)
The Bears have allowed the fewest receptions to wide receivers in the NFL, which is why this line is so heavily juiced toward Jordan Addison, the Vikings WR2, to go under 4.5 receptions.
Despite that, a look at his recent games show a player becoming more and more integral to the Vikings’ offense.
Over the past six weeks, he’s had at least five targets in every game. Not only that, but he’s gradually becoming more involved.
Last week’s eight catches on 12 targets were season highs for him; he’s had a total of 35 targets in the past four games alone.
At a big plus-money price, it’s worth having a little sprinkle on Addison to get five or more receptions on Monday night.
