Quentin Johnston

Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+250)

Quentin Johnston has emerged as a true deep threat for the Chargers. Out of his five touchdowns this season, three of them have been for 25 yards or more. On top of that, he also has scores in back-to-back games.

The Bengals haven’t defended the pass well at all this season, ranking 27th in defensive DVOA against the pass, with 17 TDs allowed – including six over the past three games.

Johnston should have a decent matchup against cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt, who has graded poorly in coverage and explosive play rate, according to PFF.

If the Chargers passing attack continues to trend upward, I like Johnston to score for a third straight game.

Gus Edwards

Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+260)

Gus Edwards looked great last week when he returned from injury. He registered 10 carries for 55 yards, with four of them being in the red zone.

Cincinnati’s run defense hasn’t been very good this season, allowing 11 rushing TDs, and is 23rd in defensive DVOA against the run.

The Chargers have been running J.K. Dobbins a bunch, but his workload is unsustainable. Last week was proof that they’re hinting at a backfield committee.

I think Edwards finally gets his first touchdown of the season against this banged-up Bengals defensive line.
