The matchup we expected to get was the Los Angeles Rams against the Kansas City Chiefs. The matchup we're getting instead features the longshot Cincinnati Bengals.

That hasn't stopped huge bets from rolling in on both sides of the Super Bowl LVI.

We will be tracking the biggest reported bets from sportsbooks all week leading up to Sunday's game. There's already a wide variety of wagers, with four coming in on the Rams and three on the Bengals. That includes both spread and moneyline bets.

A few huge bets came on the morning of the Super Bowl, with the same bettor making three separate bets on the Rams at $1 million a piece:

  • Rams -0.5 first quarter (+105)
  • Rams -2.5 first half (-120)
  • Rams over 13.5 first half points (-115)

But the biggest of course comes from a series of bets made by Mattress Mack, who started with $4.5 million on the Bengals moneyline (+170) for a potential profit of $7.7 million. He then added another $5 million on Friday on the moneyline.

The $5 million officially surpassed the largest Super Bowl wager ever placed, which was a $4.9 million bet at -900 for Super Bowl XXXVI.

The largest reported bet on the Rams is for over $500,000 on the spread with Los Angeles listed as a 4-point favorite. That line is now up to 4.5, which a bettor grabbed for the Bengals while risking $200,000.

A player at PointsBet is laying the big juice on the Rams to win with a $250,000 risk on the -200 moneyline.

The Rams opened as 3.5-point favorites before the line moved quickly to 4. Later in the week it settled at 4.5, where it stands on Monday. The total is at 48.5. You can find real-time odds here and shop for the best spreads, totals and Moneylines across sportsbooks.
