Bill Belichick is out as the Patriots' head coach and his most likely destinations are the Falcons and Chargers, according to the odds boards.

The Falcons are +150 favorites at DraftKings to land the six-time Super Bowl winner. This market, by the way, is only available in select states, such as Colorado, Michigan and Illinois.

The second-best favorite? That he's not coaching next year. That mark is at +175.

Odds are according to DraftKings and reflect the team — or lack thereof — that Belichick will be the head coach for on Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season.

Openings with the Chargers and Commanders are next, although Jim Harbaugh and Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson seem to have strangeholds over those jobs at the moment, according to experts.

Next would be any other NFL team that decides to make an opening besides those listed. Those teams could include the Cowboys, who could conceivably rid of coach Mike McCarthy if there's a bad showing against the Packers on Sunday during the Wild Card Round. Other possibilities include the Jaguars or Seahawks. The Seahawks in particular are a curious omission, considering their need for a defensive leader and Belichick's propensity for strong-nosed defenses. The Patriots were, after all, the No. 1 ranked defense in DVOA from Week 10 onwards.

Tied at +800 are the Titans, who recently fired Belichick's former player in Mike Vrabel earlier this week. If this happens, there's a distinct possibility Belichick moves to Tennessee and Vrabel moves to New England in an effective trade.

The longshot candidates include the Panthers — whose situation looks particularly dire — and three teams that already have head coaches: the Giants, Saints and Jets.
