I've found my NFL player prop pick for the Week 13 edition of Sunday Night Football, featuring the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers.
For Bills vs. 49ers, I'm backing rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall in what I believe is a strong buy-low spot. Let's get into my SNF prop.
Ricky Pearsall Player Props
One of my favorite things to do is invest in a rookie wide receiver who's being overlooked by the betting market.
That’s the case with the 49ers' Ricky Pearsall, who has failed to catch a pass in back-to-back games entering Sunday Night Football. However, his underlying usage has been encouraging and he should be getting Brock Purdy back under center.
Pearsall is versatile and a great fit in the 49ers offense. He missed the first half of the season after getting shot in an attempted robbery attempt, but he thankfully made a full recovery.
We should expect him to have a bit of a longer learning curve due to missing preseason and the early part of the season.
He has a few games under his belt and the 49ers have been using him heavily since Brandon Aiyuk’s season-ending injury.
Pearsall will see an increase in playing time and targets if the 49ers end up in trailing game script, which is more likely tonight than usual.
Based on the 6.5-point spread, the 49ers are expected to trail 52% of the time, which is 21% higher than their season average (31%).
We could see snow and wind impact this game, but I’m not expecting it to completely wipe out the 49ers' passing attack. We could even see Pearsall benefit from a defender slipping in the tough conditions.
I’m projecting Pearsall closer to 22.5 receiving yards yards with around a 60% chance to clear 17.5.
