I’m looking for the backup running backs to get some additional work tonight. Buffalo’s defense has always been a little weaker against the run so it adds up.
The Bills allow 144 rushing yards per game, which is 25th in the NFL. They also rank 31st in defensive DVOA to running back pass catchers.
I don’t see the Jets’ passing game having much success downfield. Both Jets’ running backs are certainly in play, but I love the odds with Braelon Allen in the matchup.

There is a lot of upside with this pick.
Why? Well, Curtis Samuel played 56% of snaps last week filling in for Khalil Shakir. The latter was listed questionable for Monday night, who’s currently dealing with an ankle injury. However, if he does play, he’ll reportedly be on a pitch count.
Samuel saw four targets last week, with one being in the red zone. He also has a carry in three straight games as a prime jet-sweep candidate.
The Bills may need to get creative and look to Samuel in the slot with Shakir either limited or out. With so much uncertainty at receiver for Buffalo, I’d rather take the longshot with value.
