Thanks to the Action Network's The Favorites podcast, you can wager on whether Brock Purdy will have an octopus for the Super Bowl between the 49ers and Chiefs.

Don't know what an octopus is? No problem.

An octopus is when the same player who scored a rushing or receiving touchdown scores the same on a two-point conversion. It doesn't work if you pass for both, by the way.

But for bet365, it's okay if Purdy passes it in — which makes this not a true octopus. A "Brocktopus," as bet365 has coined it.

For what it's worth, a real octopus has only occurred 188 times — and only once in the Super Bowl, during last year's game between the Eagles and Chiefs.

bet365's odds on the matter are at +1200 for this to take place.

As far as the Action Network's role in this, bet365 decided to host a contest in which they posted a prop suggestion from one of The Favorites' podcast listeners.

The winner was this "Brocktopus" prop, an idea concocted by a listener named Chandler.
