The public expects the Broncos, Steelers and Raiders to bounce back from lackluster seasons with new quarterbacks and roster constructions.

That's according to data from BetMGM, which indicates that the three teams have the among the most wagers to overperform their win totals.

The Broncos in particular are extremely popular. They represent the team with the most tickets and handle at BetMGM to go over their win total of 5.5.

Denver is in the throes of massive change. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix out of Oregon — who prognosticators believed was selected higher than he should've — will start the season as the starter. That's over the newly acquired Zach Wilson and longtime backup Jarrett Stidham.

Roughly 92% of the total handle and 94% of the total tickets at BetMGM are on Denver to go over 5.5 wins at a price of -145. Despite the massive public action, the sportsbook hasn't budged on its price since open.

The under is juiced at +120 and has just 8% of the handle in the market and 6% of all tickets.

Meanwhile, the Steelers will start Russell Wilson, who had started for two seasons for the aforementioned Broncos. Pittsburgh has the second-most handle in the win total marketplace at BetMGM. After opening at over 7.5 wins with a price of -165, the public action has moved that line to -185 at the sportsbook. In a corresponding move, under 7.5 wins has moved from its open at +140 to its current price of +145.

And the Raiders will see a new QB — and coaching staff — too with Gardner Minshew at the helm. Las Vegas has the third-highest handle at BetMGM. Roughly 74% of all handle is on them to outperform their win total of 6.5, which is juiced to -145.
