NFL Week 7 begins with Thursday Night Football between the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints on Thursday night. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

Beyond spread and total bets, I'm looking at Broncos vs. Saints anytime touchdown scorers. To kick off NFL Week 7, I'm backing a pair of rookies to find the end zone.

Here are my two anytime TD scorer picks for Broncos vs. Saints props.

The first rookie I'm looking to back in this Thursday Night football matchup is QB Bo Nix, who already has three touchdowns on the year.

Nix leads the Broncos with nine red-zone carries, which ranks fourth among all quarterbacks and outpaces Lamar Jackson. I know he just threw for two touchdowns in back-to-back games, but I don't see that success throwing the ball carrying over to this game, especially considering the Saints rank eighth in defensive DVOA vs. the pass. New Orleans is just 24th in defensive DVOA vs. the run and has allowed seven rushing touchdowns.

I'm backing Nix to find the end zone once again, and I think there's upside as well with laddering his touchdowns to 2+ at 25-1.

Devaughn Vele is a big slot receiver at 6'5", and the rookie already has 14 targets in his first two games played. Meanwhile, the Saints just gave up three touchdowns to Chris Godwin and Cade Otton last week, both of whom primarily line up in the slot. Vele has lined up in the slot at an 82% rate and has one of the lowest ADOTs for all Broncos WRs.

New Orleans' defense ranks first in defensive DVOA vs. WR1 and first against the deep ball. They pretty much shut down everything on the outside.

So, for my second anytime touchdown bet for Thursday night football, I'll be looking at a rookie in the slot to find paydirt.
