The Cleveland Browns (3-13) and Baltimore Ravens (11-5) open NFL Week 18 at M&T Bank Stadium. Kickoff for is set for 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, ABC and ESPN+.
Beyond spread and total bets, I'm looking at Browns vs. Ravens anytime TD scorers and I have a pick for each team on Saturday.
Here are my three anytime touchdown scorer bets for Saturday's contest.
Browns vs. Ravens Anytime Touchdown Scorer Props
- Isaiah Likely Anytime Touchdown (+390)
- Keaton Mitchell Anytime Touchdown (+300)
- Jerry Jeudy Anytime Touchdown (+480)
When these teams played earlier in the season, it was a classic shootout thanks to QB Jameis Winston, but he likely won’t see the field in Week 18, which makes this a game you may want to avoid, especially with the Browns as 17.5-point underdogs to close the season.
The Browns will likely be one of many teams in Week 18 that I’ll be fading for touchdown props. This week though, we’ll see QB Bailey Zappe finally get a shot after QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson did nothing of note in his two starts.
Zappe is facing a Ravens defense that has significantly improved in defending the pass in the second half of the season. I still think Zappe is a massive improvement over DTR, but we’ll still exercise caution.
The one Brown who stands out is WR Jerry Jeudy (+310) since he’s the main option they have left, and he’s seen 10+ targets in five of the last eight games. He also leads the Browns in touchdowns vs. man coverage — the Ravens play man defense at a top-10 rate.
For the Ravens, the initial thought was to look at TE Mark Andrews since he has a touchdown in five straight games, and one of his 10 touchdowns this season was on this Browns defense.
The issue is I’m not sure how many of the key starters — like Andrews, Zay Flowers, Derrick Henry — will play and how much if the Ravens get a huge lead early. That’s why I’m looking at backups like TE Isaiah Likely (+360) or RB Keaton Mitchell (+300).
Likely has a touchdown in three of the last four games and has more snaps than Andrews in that same span, while Mitchell played a season-high 27% of snaps in Week 16. Pass-catching RB Justice Hill could also be out with a concussion.
