If it weren’t for the Packers, the Buccaneers would have had the upset of the week to start the playoffs. Tampa Bay crushed the Eagles 32-9 and now has Philadelphia rethinking its whole future. That's a pretty great start to the postseason after the Buccaneers were frowned upon for winning the NFC's weakest division.
On the other side, the Lions played the only game that wasn’t a two-score blowout in the playoffs' first round. Detroit looked unstoppable as it scored three straight touchdowns to start the game. However, it stumbled to the finish line by only scoring three points the rest of the game. Fortunately, style points don’t count in the playoffs.
Let’s build a Buccaneers vs. Lions same game parlay in the Divisional Round.

Amon-Ra St. Brown 110+ Receiving Yards
Buccaneers vs. Lions | 3 p.m. ET
Amon-Ra St. Brown completely terrorized opponents this year, totaling 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns. He has somehow managed to take his game to another level the last five weeks, averaging 112.4 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game.
He now gets to face a defense that is weak against what he does best. The Buccaneers blitz at the third-highest rate in the NFL, exposing them to receivers that get open quickly. As a slot receiver, St. Brown will be the hot read many times and be working the area of the field the blitz opens up.
Even when St. Brown lines up against the Buccaneers' outside corners, he will play to their weaknesses. Tampa Bay’s corners are big, physical corners that lock up opponents by disturbing them with their size. St. Brown uses his quickness to prevent opponents from even getting their hands on him.
In the first matchup between the two, St. Brown stuffed the stat sheet with 124 yards receiving. I expect another superb performance from the Lions' stud receiver.

Mike Evans 100+ Receiving Yards
Buccaneers vs. Lions | 3 p.m. ET
Mike Evans has only eclipsed this number three times this year and was in held in check in the first matchup against Detroit with four catches for 49 yards. However, the Lions' pass defense has taken dramatic steps backward in recent weeks. They have allowed over 300 yards passing in four straight games.
Last week, it was Puka Nacua torching the Lions' corners for 181 yards. Nacua lighting up the Lions is an excellent sign for Evans since they play the same role as outside receivers. Playing outside is important because Detroit's outside corners have been the problem. The Lions' starting outside corners each have a PFF grade under 60.
If St. Brown is lighting up the Buccaneers' defense, their offense will need to keep up somehow. What better way than targeting your best receiver against the opponent's weakest position?
Alternate Under 60
Buccaneers vs. Lions | 3 p.m. ET
While I expect the two top receivers to have good games, I don’t see other matchups working for these teams. Both defenses are top 10 in yards per carry allowed. Chris Godwin will match up with the Lions' excellent rookie corner Brian Branch. And Sam Laporta will be up against one of the league’s best safeties in Antoine Winfield.
Beyond the matchups, these teams are playing more conservatively. Per nfelo, both the Buccaneers and Lions have negative pass rates over expected. We saw the Lions take their foot off the gas when they were leading last week. The Buccaneers were also conservative but managed to catch the Eagles sleeping a couple of times late.
This is a nice way to juice the odds by combining a likely under with our receiving overs. However, I don’t blame you if you choose to leave it off your parlay card.
