Indianapolis Colts at Philadelphia Eagles
The Pick: Colts +6.5
Chad: “Here’s what’s interesting about the Colts to me. Their defense is significantly better than people thought.”
BJ: “Carson Wentz has been practicing, but he’s wearing a red jersey. He needs to get hit. I want to see how he takes a hit. I want to see what his mobility is like.”
New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons
The Pick: New Orleans +3
Chad: “The wise guys are on the Saints at +3 … What I’m worried about with the Falcons is the fact that they’re missing their middle linebacker.”
BJ: “The Saints' defense has gotten torched this year, but it is not as bad as it looks. They’re not that much different from the team they had last year. In fact, I think if you look at the talent on the defense, it’s better.”
Cincinnati Bengals at Carolina Panthers
The Pick: Bengals +3
Chad: “The Bengals defense is phenomenal …The team is seventh in the league in yards per play on defense. It is second in the league in yards per play allowed rushing the ball … They’re a good team no one’s paying attention to. Give me the Cincinnati Bengals!”
San Francisco 49ers at Kansas City Chiefs
The Pick: 49ers +6.5
BJ: “I trust Kyle Shanahan to come up with some sort of a game plan to throw something different at Patrick Mahomes, and at least slow the Chiefs down.”
Chad: “Patrick Mahomes is on pace for 6,000 yards this season … I am on pace for eight carafes of amaretto today.”
Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Pick: Seahawks -2
BJ: “I think people are higher on Dallas than they should be after that win against the Giants … I operate off of feel. That’s how I drive, too. You don’t even need to look. I don’t use rear-view mirrors, I drive based on feel.”
Chad: “I like Seattle because of the number. The Seahawks should be a three-point favorite in this game. And instead I’m getting them at two points. To me that’s value.”
