This article contains predictions for an old game.

The Chicago Bears (4-12) and Green Bay Packers (11-5) will close the regular season in NFL Week 18. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. EST from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis., and the game will be live on FOX.

Let's get into my Packers vs Bears predictions and NFL picks for today's game.

The Packers are favored by 10 points over the Bears (Packers -10) with the game total set at 41 points scored (-110o / -110u). The Packers are -500 favorites to win outright, while the Bears are +375 to pull off the upset.

Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers Picks

The Bears haven't won in almost three months and scored just three points last week against the Seahawks. Chicago also hasn't scored 20 points in any of its last four games.

Against Seattle, Caleb Williams was 16-of-28 for just 122 passing yards and an interception. Chicago ran for 103 yards but finished the game with a putrid average of 3.1 yards per play on offense.

With that, it's no surprise that the public wants no part of the Bears in Week 18 against the Packers.

However, that's exactly why there's value in betting on Chicago and taking the points on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

As detailed by Action PRO's Bet Against Public After Bad Game System, teams like Chicago that scored fewer than 10 points the previous week and garner 30% or less of the spread action — the Bears are at 24% as of Friday night — are 167-113-4 (60%) against the spread dating back to 2003.

Simply put: One-sided action often pushes the spread away from these teams that have performed poorly in their previous game, providing extra spread value for those willing to take a contrarian approach and buy them back at inflated numbers.

For example, as recently as Wednesday Chicago was available at +9. However, just a few days later savvy bettors can pick off the Bears at +10.5 (FanDuel) simply because the market is bailing on the Bears in Week 18.

It's not going to be the sexiest pick, but the play here is on the Bears getting double-digit points against the Packers to close the regular season.

My Pick: Bears +10 (-110)
