The Chicago Bears (1-1) face the Indianapolis Colts (0-2) to kick off NFL Week 3 on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The Colts are 1-point favorites with the game total set at 43.5. Indianapolis is a -120 favorite on the moneyline, while Chicago is +100 to pull off the upset. The game will be broadcast live on CBS and can be streamed on Paramount+ or platforms like YouTube TV.

The Bears opened the season with a comeback win over the Titans but couldn't protect Caleb Williams in Houston last week. Keenan Allen was out, and D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze never got into the game. The Colts, meanwhile, have been run over by the Texans and Packers this season. Anthony Richardson has been inconsistent with his arm, and the defense cannot stop the run to save its life.

Let's get into my Bears vs. Colts prediction for Sunday afternoon and my NFL picks and predictions for Week 3.

Bears vs. Colts: NFL Week 3 Picks

By Matt Trebby

It hasn't been smooth sailing for Caleb Williams in the NFL. The Bears escaped with a win in Week 1 over the Titans thanks to Will Levis. In his NFL debut, Williams struggled with just 93 passing yards on 29 attempts for 3.2 yards per throw.

Last week against the Texans was slightly better with 4.7 yards per attempt on 37 throws. The problem for Williams was staying upright. Houston got after him and made him escape the pocket early and often on Sunday Night Football, and he was sacked seven times.

This will be another tough matchup for Chicago. Indianapolis ranks 10th in pressure rate and isn't going to make life easy for Williams.

The Colts have quarterback questions of their own.

Anthony Richardson is entertaining for the neutral fan, but he's inconsistent and can be frustrating to back. He is completing 49.1% of pass attempts this season and has thrown four interceptions. That kind of inefficiency generally won't cut it.

The good news for the Colts is that they're averaging 6.1 yards per carry behind Richardson and Jonathan Taylor (151 rushing yards). Indy will need its QB to protect the football more if it's going to be successful this season, though.
