NFL Monday Night Football features Chiefs vs. Buccaneers tonight at Arrowhead Stadium to wrap up Week 9 in the NFL. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Beyond spread and total bets, I'm looking at Chiefs vs. Buccaneers anytime touchdown scorers for Monday Night Football.
Here are my two anytime touchdown scorer bets for tonight.
Chiefs vs. Buccaneers TD Scorer Props
- Xavier Worthy Anytime Touchdown (+220, DraftKings)
- Cade Otton Anytime Touchdown (+333, bet365)
Xavier Worthy Prop
Anytime Touchdown (+220)
Xavier Worthy has five touchdowns on the season – three through the air and two on the ground.
The rookie speedster has started to see his target rate go up since Rashee Rice went down with a knee injury in Week 4. Worthy has 20 targets in his last three games without Rice, finding the end zone twice over that span. More importantly, he has back-to-back games with two red-zone targets.
Deandre Hopkins' insertion into the Kansas City offense will certainly change things, but Hopkins is likely still getting up to speed, so I still project Worthy to have a significant role.
The Bucs also play Zone at a top seven rate in the league. The only Chiefs pass-catcher to have a touchdown against Zone this season? That would be Worthy, who has scored twice against Zone already.
Cade Otton Prop
Anytime Touchdown (+333)
With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin still out, we have to keep riding with Cade Otton.
Otton has clearly become Baker Mayfield's security blanket without his top two wideouts. The tight end has 26 targets and three touchdowns over his last three games.
The Chiefs have allowed the second-most receptions and yards to the tight end position this season, as well as a pair of TDs to TEs. It could be a tough night for Bucs wide receivers considering Kansas City ranks top three in catches and yards allowed to the position, so Otton should be the focal point in the passing game.
With Otton around +230 to score everywhere else, I like the odds we're getting here at bet365.
