NFL Thursday Night Football features Commanders vs. Eagles tonight at Lincoln Financial Field to kick off Week 11 in the NFL. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
Beyond spread and total bets, I'm looking at Commanders vs. Eagles anytime touchdown scorers for Thursday Night Football.
Here are my two anytime touchdown scorer bets for tonight.
Commanders vs. Eagles TD Scorer Props
Eagles Anytime TD Scorer Prop
A.J. Brown Anytime Touchdown (+130)
This is the perfect matchup for an A.J. Brown bounce-back.
Brown is no longer on the injury report and looks to be back to full health after recording five catches for 109 yards against the Cowboys in Week 10.
So, why should we expect another big game out of Brown on Thursday? The Commanders play Man coverage at an above-average rate and have conceded 12 touchdowns to wide receivers this year. Brown has crushed Man coverage this season, with two touchdowns and a 37% target share despite missing some time. Moreover, his 5.12 yards per route run against Man is first in the NFL among pass-catchers with at least 10 targets.
Brown also has history on his side. Last season, he crushed his two matchups against Washington with a combined 17 catches for 305 yards and four touchdowns.
We've seen top wideouts score on this Commanders defense this season, with Mike Evans, Ja'Marr Chase, Malik Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr., and George Pickens all finding the end zone against Washington.
I expect to add Brown to that list this week.
Commanders Anytime TD Scorer Prop
Terry McLaurin Anytime Touchdown (+175)
Terry McLaurin is undoubtedly Jayden Daniels' go-to receiver. He leads the Commanders in every receiving category: targets, catches, yards, and most importantly, touchdowns (6).
McLaurin will go up against a tough Eagles secondary that plays Man coverage at a top-six rate in the league. Conveniently, McLaurin has been Washington's most effective receiver against Man defenses, leading the team with a 23% target share and three touchdowns vs. Man.
I expect a trailing game script for the Commanders with a lot of passing. I don't mind a long shot on WR Dyami Brown at +900, but my money is on McLaurin this week.
