The Los Angeles Rams lost one of their top wide receivers – and one of the top wideouts in the entire NFL – for the second-straight week.
The Rams announced that Cooper Kupp was doubtful to return in their game against the Cardinals after sustaining an ankle injury in the first-half. He caught four passes for 37 yards before being forced out of the game.

Kupp was a revelation last week in the team’s season-opener against the Lions. He caught 14 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in the team’s heartbreaking overtime loss. Kupp’s performance saw him skyrocket up the Offensive Player of the Year board as it moved from +8000 to +1700 at DraftKings. The veteran won the award in 2021 when he became the fifth wide receiver in history to lead the league in catches (145), receiving yards (1,947) and touchdown receptions (16).
Kupp’s loss is an especially tough blow for a Rams team that placed Puka Nacua on IR earlier this week with a knee injury.
