It’s called the Super Bowl, but it should be called the Cooper Bowl.

Bettors are pounding props on Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp so much that PointsBet said Tuesday that it's receiving as much action on Kupp to score a touchdown as it is on the Super Bowl spread itself.

Kupp opened as an anytime touchdown scorer at -140. Due to betting activity, that has been shortened to -171.

Only Jonathan Taylor and Derrick Henry had that short of odds at PointsBet to reach a touchdown in a game this season.

After being kept out of the endzone for three games in November, Kupp has scored at least a touchdown in eight out of the Rams' last nine games.

Kupp is also getting pounded on the over for receiving yards. At Caesars, his Super Bowl total receiving yards is up from an opening line of 102.5 to 106.5. Even at that number, 96% of the total dollars are on the over.

Kupp has hit at least 107 yards in 13 out of the 20 games this season, including seven out of the last nine games.

“It’s rare to see a prop in the triple digits, but he’s mandated it,” said Adam Pullen, assistant director of trading at Caesars. “I think his player props are going to get the most action besides the quarterbacks. Since his overs are going to be one of the more popular bets for the public, the sharps will just sit and wait to see how high it gets before jumping in later.”

And that’s not all. There’s more money coming in on Kupp’s longest reception of 28.5 (-135), with 99% of the dollars on the over, and longest rush at 0.5 (+250), also at 99% to the over.
