  • The Giants are home favorites tonight against the Cowboys on Monday Night Football.
  • Action Labs sees a few clear edges in the player props market tonight.
  • Check out which three players you should bet below.

The Action Labs Player Props tool uses projections from our experts to find edges for you in the betting game.

For Monday Night Football this week, I took a look at the numbers and found three noteworthy running backs whose projections stood out against their betting lines.

Ezekiel Elliott
Under 2.5 Receptions

Elliott has been targeted twice in each of the Cowboys’ first two games this season, and he has one catch in each of those.

His receptions total is higher than two.

This line is pretty juiced, with the under coming in at -155 on BetRivers and -174 on FanDuel, which makes sense given the numbers I just laid out. Elliott is no longer the bellcow he used to be in Dallas, and Tony Pollard appears to be the superior receiver.

Cooper Rush
Over 2.5 Rushing Yards

Now we’re getting into the props you really want to bet.

This one is pretty straight forward. Rush’s rushing yards total is 2.5 at BetMGM. Action Labs projects him for five.

We don’t have much data to go off, but what we have throughout Rush’s career indicates some serious value here.

Rush has attempted 13 or more passes three times in his career, two of which were starts and one was Week 1 against Tampa Bay. He has 19, 12 and five rushing yards in those games.

I know when you think “Cooper Rush,” you probably don’t think about what a great scrambler he is. But the Cowboys offensive line is banged up and Rush has gone over this total every time he’s gotten extended playing time. Let’s do it.

Richie James
Under 35.5 Receiving Yards

James has been a neat story for the Giants this season. In both of New York’s wins, he was targeted six times and hauled in five catches for 59 and 51 yards in each game.

A lot of that has to do with the lack of depth the Giants currently have at wide receiver. It’s been James, Sterling Shepard and 26-year-old David Sills leading the way.

It looks like that’s going to remain the case against the Cowboys on Monday night, but Action Labs isn’t high on James maintaining his impressive production. His receiving yards total is 35.5 at BetRivers, and our projections have him at 23.1.
