Cowboys vs Seahawks Player Prop: Zach Charbonnet
Charbonnet will be getting his second straight start with Kenneth Walker expected to miss Thursday Night Football.
Last week against the 49ers, Charbonnet came up just short of this number with 47 rushing yards. That was a worst-case-scenario game script for him, though. The Seahawks only had the ball for 7 1/2 minutes in the first half and were down 24-3 at halftime. It's always going to be tough for any RB to clear their prop in that scenario.
While it’s certainly possible for a similar scenario tonight against the surging Cowboys, it’s unlikely to be as lopsided as last week.
Seattle’s offensive line, specifically the right side, has been struggling and Geno was under pressure on 47% of his dropbacks and sacked six times. It would make sense for the Seahawks to try to establish the run game early on tonight.
While it’s another tough matchup against Dallas, Charbonnet has been one of the most efficient RBs in the league. He ranks in the top 10 in success rate, first-down rate and avoiding negative runs. He should handle most of the early-down work, with DeeJay Dallas more likely to take some passing snaps from Charbonnet to give him a breather.
I’m going to bet on his talent again tonight and hope for a slightly better game script and game plan from the Seahawks offense.
I have Charbonnet's median closer to 57.5 yards with a 60% chance to clear 51.5.
