The Denver Broncos (1-2) and New York Jets (2-1) will kick off NFL Week 4's Sunday afternoon slate. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The game will be broadcast live on CBS and can be streamed on platforms like Paramount+ and YouTube TV.
The Jets are consensus 8-point favorites over the Broncos, with the game total set at 39.5 points. The spread opened at its current number, while the total has gone down four points from opening at 42.5. New York enters with a lot of momentum after a convincing 24-3 win last week over the Patriots. Aaron Rodgers completed 77.1% of his passes and threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns, delivering a vintage performance.
The Broncos come in on a high, too. Denver beat the Buccaneers 26-7 last week for its first win of the season. Bo Nix is yet to throw a touchdown pass, but he completed 69.4% of passes last week (a season high) for 216 yards.

Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets NFL Week 4 Preview
This looks like it could be an ugly game with a total below 40. Both teams are pretty run-heavy, and with the Jets favored, it could be over fast.
Both defenses have actually played quite well this season. We expected that from the Jets, who have famously been a quarterback away for a bit now. Few thought the Broncos, though, would have a top-13 defense according to DVOA entering Week 4.
The Jets are favored by more than a touchdown at home. I teased this game with the Chiefs on “The Action Network Podcast” on Sunday night, basically getting the lines to a point where we’re just hoping both teams win.
My pick for this game, though, is backing a specific defender who should shut down a key Jets playmaker.
Patrick Surtain II is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, and he routinely shadows the opposition’s best receiver. Here, the Jets have a clear WR1 in Garrett Wilson.
Denver has played man coverage on 63% of plays so far this season against opposing receivers. With that, I’m expecting Surtain to shadow Wilson for most of this game.
The Broncos have also done very well against opposing WR1s this season:
Week 1: DK Metcalf: 3 catches, 4 targets, 29 yards
Week 2: George Pickens: 2 catches, 4 targets, 29 yards
Week 3: Mike Evans: 2 catches, 3 targets, 17 yards
Wilson is averaging 50 yards per game this season and only has four catches for double-digit yards this season. I’m on his under.
Pick: Garrett Wilson Under 56.6 Receiving Yards (-115)
