Last week, I cashed on D'Onta Foreman, aka Dollar Store Derrick Henry (no offense meant by that), to go over his rushing prop. On Thursday night, we're going with the king himself.
This is a great spot for Henry against a Packers run-funnel defense that ranks eighth in DVOA against the pass but 30th against the run. Green Bay has also allowed 1.8 yards before contact on average, which ranks 28th. Allowing Henry to get a full head of steam before contact is a recipe for disaster for the Packers.
The Green Bay defense has also been hit hard over the past couple weeks by the injury bug. Edge rusher Rashan Gary is out for the season, and middle linebacker De'Vondre Campbell is out for this game.
Worn-down defenses at this point in the season will especially struggle to stop Henry. The Packers fit that bill, coming off an overtime win over the Cowboys on Sunday that saw the defense on the field for 79 plays.
Also, it's going to be freezing, around 25 degrees at kickoff, at Lambeau Field, which historically has helped running backs' production.
I'm projecting Henry for closer to 107.5 rushing yards here and love his upside in this matchup.
