Dolphins running back De'Von Achane has seen his anytime TD props skyrocket after teammate Raheem Mostert was ruled out for Thursday Night Football between the Bills and Dolphins with a chest injury.
No rushing yard props have been released across the market as of Wednesday afternoon.
That's because Achane is also injured. The second-year player out of Texas A&M is a gametime call with an ankle injury but returned to practice on Wednesday after missing reps on Monday and Tuesday.
However, Achane's anytime TD props are still live and booming. Those went from a market-best price of +110 at bet365 on Tuesday night to as bad as -165 at FanDuel on Wednesday. At bet365, which still has the best price, Achane is -110 to score a touchdown.
If Achane eventually plays, expect his Tuesday total of 49.5 rushing yards to increase as a result of Mostert's absence, too.
If Achane eventually doesn't play, all wagers on him will void. In that case, third-string running back Jeff Wilson Jr. will figure to dominate the backfield. The market, too, has already adjusted to this possibility and has him priced at a market-best of +125 to score a touchdown on Thursday, down from as high as +400 the day prior. That line is also at bet365.
No rushing or receiving yard props are available on Wilson, either, due to questions about Achane's availability.
With all of the injuries in general, the total for Bills vs. Dolphins has moved steadily downward.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen is dealing with a left hand ailment. And while he'll play, his injury might make Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady more resistant to send his star asset out there for QB draws — something the OC has utilized ad nauseam since taking over in the middle of the 2023 season.
The Bills' best player in the secondary — Taron Johnson — is also out for this game with a forearm injury.
In addition, the Dolphins' best pass rusher — Jaelan Phillips — and best cornerback in Jalen Ramsey are both questionable with lingering injury concerns.
Phillips is coming back from a torn Achilles but played the majority of snaps in Week 1. Similarly, Ramsey is dealing with a hamstring injury but still played the majority of defensive snaps against the Jaguars last Sunday.
The total has moved down from a consensus of 51 to 48.5 and 49 as a result of these ailments.
