Will bets on Steelers vs. Bills void after it was delayed from Sunday to Monday?

You might have bet the over or under at 33, a historically low number on account of snow and wind in Buffalo this weekend. The 10-point difference from an opening total of 43 to 33 would have been the largest sway in NFL playoff history.

But now, conditions for the game might be slightly better with a one day postponement and the total has increased precipitously from its low of 33.

Will your bet on that void, though, because of the postponement?

At the top four major American sportsbooks, the answer is no. So long as the game is actually completed on Monday.

At FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM or Caesars, a game needs to be played within 7 days or the "same scheduling week," which in this case means Wednesday. So long as this game starts by Wednesday, all bets placed prior will be valid.

FanDuel

  • For bets to remain valid: Must be played by Wednesday

"Abandoned or postponed games are void unless played within the same scheduling week. In the event of a change of venue, all bets will be void."

DraftKings

  • For bets to remain valid: Must be played by Wednesday

"Games must start in the same scheduling week of the league (scheduling week is Thursday-Wednesday, local stadium time, for NFL) for bets to have action."

BetMGM

  • For bets to remain valid: Played within 7 days

"Football games and any games/events not specifically listed must be held within one week of the originally scheduled date and location to be considered action."

Caesars Sportsbook

  • Canceled pregame: Played within 7 days

"All events must be held within seven (7) days of the scheduled date to be considered 'action.' For example, if a game is postponed on a Saturday, it must be completed by the following Friday. Games are official after 55 minutes of play."
