Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs odds in the NFL playoffs have the Chiefs as 3.5-point favorites over the Dolphins, as of 11:35 p.m. ET on Sunday night. It opened at Kansas City -1.5 but moved up quickly.
The over/under has been set at 47.5 total points scored between the two teams, but that was bet down to 45.5 after many realized the forecast for K.C. is calling for near-freezing temperatures.

After watching Skylar Thompson put forth a surprisingly decent performance last season in the playoffs, we finally get to see Tua Tagovailoa in the playoffs.
Miami has been pretty steady all season. Its longest winning streak was three games, and it never lost consecutive games. Having a high-powered offense like this unit helps, although it has disappeared against some noteworthy opponents. The Dolphins scored just 20 points in Buffalo in Week 4, 17 in Philadelphia in Week 7, 14 in Germany against the Chiefs in Week 9 and then 19 against the Ravens in Week 17.
Tagovailoa entered Week 18 with 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, and Miami has two 1,000-yard receivers, although Jaylen Waddle’s high ankle sprain in Week 16 came at an unfortunate time. Underrated is the Miami running game, with 1,000-yard rusher Raheem Mostert and the explosive Devon Achane, who entered Week 18 averaging 8.0 yards per carry.
The Dolphins entered their Week 18 matchup with the Bills at 10-6 against the spread and 9-7 to the over.

Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs entered Week 18 at 10-6 and set to be the No. 3 seed, but this doesn’t feel like the Chiefs of recent years.
Kansas City opened the final week of the regular season with a +76 point differential that was the fourth best in the AFC, but it had the sixth-most points scored in the conference with 358. For reference, the Broncos weren’t far behind at 343.
Instead of a high-powered, efficient offense, it’s been the Chiefs defense that has been the star of the show. Kansas City allowed 282 points in its first 16 games of the season, which was the second-lowest total in the AFC behind the Ravens (263).
