Drake has released his Super Bowl betting card for the second straight year as a part of his sponsorship with the Canadian sportsbook Stake.
And this year, he has his fair share of speculative bets.
- Chiefs to win (+111). $700,000 to win $777,000
- Patrick Mahomes to score the first TD (+1400). $50,000 to win $700,000
- Juju Smith-Schuster to score the first TD (+900). $50,000 to win $450,000
- Chiefs to win both halves (+400). $50,000 to win $200,000
- Chiefs to win each quarter (+2000). $30,000 to win $600,000
- Travis Kelce Super Bowl MVP (+1200). $25,000 to win $300,000
- Super Bowl MVP to be a tight end (+900). $60,000 to win $540,000
Keep in mind that each wager was done in Canadian dollars. $1 CAD is equal to roughly 74 cents, as of Thursday night.
Compare that betting card to his docket for Super Bowl LVI between the Rams and Bengals, when Drake went relatively chalk.
- Rams to win (-195). $600,000 to win $308,000
- Odell Beckham Jr. to score a touchdown (+115). $500,000 to win $575,000
- Odell Beckham Jr. to record 63 or more receiving yards (-125). $500,000 to win $405,000
The first two wagers won to give Drake a net that day of roughly $285,000 ($383,000 CAD).
For Chiefs vs. Eagles, none of Drake's bets are endorsed by the Action Network's premier NFL handicappers — except for Travis Kelce to win the Super Bowl MVP.
Generally, it's difficult to glean value from the first TD or "win both halves, win each quarter" markets, which are often far from the fair value price. For an event as popular as the Super Bowl, it can be tough to find valuable spots with such an efficient market.
My colleague Chris Raybon — who has gone 134-65-2 (67%) this season on bets primarily between -120 and -110 — thinks there's value on Kelce to win the MVP. But he assesses the value as a "dart throw."
Those odds are available at +1600 at FanDuel, as opposed to the +1200 mark Drake got from Stake. Drake's $25K bet would have netted him an extra $100,000 CAD had he wagered on FanDuel instead.
