Scoreless through two weeks, Godwin is going to be needed badly against the Eagles, who will likely have their cornerback tandem of James Bradberry and Darius Slay back together.
I'm a big Mike Evans guy, but this is a spot where Godwin can shine. Philly will try to take away the outside and force plays over the middle of the field.
Godwin is the Bucs' best slot weapon; he has 13 targets (three in the red zone) in two games thus far. He dropped a potential touchdown against the Bears in Week 2.
Given that the Eagles have already allowed four touchdowns from the slot, Godwin fits the profile of a potential touchdown scorer.

The Eagles tight end had five quick targets last week against the Vikings, only to see two the rest of the game.
Similar to Philadelphia, Tampa Bay is solid defending the ground game but not so great stopping teams over the middle.
Will that matter? Probably not, but it does mean Philly should throw the ball more than usual.
There are a lot of squeaky wheels on the Eagles to score — A.J. Brown, most notably — but Goedert at this price is too good to pass up.
