For the backend of our NFL Monday Night Football doubleheader, the Atlanta Falcons (6-7) travel to Sin City to face off against the Las Vegas Raiders (2-11). Kickoff is expected for 8:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN.

With two underperforming squads and a backup quarterback starting against his former team, there are more storylines than we expected when we saw this game on the schedule.

After a long day of work, what's better than cashing out on some player props? Let's look at three Falcons vs Raiders props for tonight's matchup.

Falcons vs. Raiders Player Props

  • Tyler Allgeier Over 27.5 Rushing Yards (-110; BetMGM)
  • Tre Tucker Over 23.5 Receiving Yards (-115; DraftKings)
  • Sincere McCormick Under 9.5 Receiving Yards (-120; DraftKings)

This is a game that set up nicely for Tyler Allgeier.

As 5.5-point favorites on the road, the Falcons should be looking to keep the ball on the ground here. The Raiders entered Week 15 ranked 25th in DVOA against the run, and that was with Maxx Crosby, who will miss the rest of the season.

Kirk Cousins hasn’t thrown a touchdown in the Falcons’ last four games, all losses, so I expect a heavy dose of Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier. Our expert Chris Raybon is projecting Allgeier for 37 rushing yards, so I’ll back his over here.

Last week was a disaster for the Raiders offense. Aidan O’Connell, who had been showing signs of promise of late, got injured and is likely done for the season. In came Desmond Ridder, who led Las Vegas to just three second-half points and a road loss to the Buccaneers.

I’m not here to sell you on Ridder, who is clearly a backup-caliber quarterback in the NFL. He should be better with more time to prepare as the team’s starter.

Tre Tucker should benefit from that. Last week, he caught just two of five targets for only seven yards. It was a bit of regression that he had coming, as well, having caught 11 of 13 targets in the Raiders’ previous three games.

Tucker has seen at least four targets in four of the Raiders’ last five games, and that will generally get him over this total.

Sean Koerner is projecting Tucker for 25.9 receiving yards, so I wouldn’t play this over above 24.5. For now, at 23.5, I’m in on a bounce-back performance from Tucker, who has gone over this number in three of his last four and five of his last seven games.

Sincere McCormick has been in control of the Raiders backfield for the last two games. He has been on the field for 31 passing snaps and has only run a route on 17 of those, a little more than half.

In those games, Ameer Abdullah has played 54 passing snaps and run 39 routes. When the Raiders are in pass-heavy situations, Abdullah is the running back who’s generally going to be on the field.

McCormick has hit this in one of his two starts as the Raiders’ full-time running back. Koerner is projecting him for 4.1 receiving yards here, though, so we’ll be on the under on Monday night.
