Don't underestimate the value of streaming in fantasy.
Streaming quarterbacks, kickers and defenses each week allows you to take advantage of the best available options. And if you missed out on a high-caliber tight end in drafts, you can even stream that position with some success.
Each week I highlight the best streaming options at all four of those positions. Here’s how those recommendations would rank with each position through three weeks:
- Quarterback: QB6 (217.32)
- Tight End: TE23 (56.1)
- Kicker: K3 (105)
- Defense: DEF3 (125)
Now let's dig into my top fantasy streaming options at quarterback, tight end, kicker and defense for Week 12.

Week 12 Fantasy Football Streaming Targets
QB: Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns
Matchup: vs. Miami Dolphins
Ownership: 54%
I've mentioned that Mayfield's schedule would make him a viable starter beginning in Week 12. After a brutal stretch at New England, at Denver, vs. Buffalo and vs. Steelers, he gets a get-right matchup against the Dolphins.
It's a good spot for he and Odell Beckham Jr., who nearly scored a 43-yard touchdown last week, falling just short. I bet they use this game to force feed Beckham the ball in the red zone. Mayfield also gained Kareem Hunt as a passing weapon two weeks ago and should be getting stud TE David Njoku back any week now.
It's a great time to add Baker as a one-week rental or as a potential long-term option if you're hurting at QB.
Deeper Leagues: Jeff Driskel, Lions (4% owned)
TE: Noah Fant, Denver Broncos
Matchup: at Buffalo Bills
Ownership: 28%
I've been advocating for Fant since the Broncos switched to Brandon Allen under center. I speculated that Allen's history targeting TEs in college, the loss of Emmanuel Sanders and Jeff Heuerman's injury would spark the Fant breakout we've been waiting for. Sure enough, that appears to be what is happening.
Fant has now gone for 3/115/1 and 4/60/0 over the past two games. It's worth noting that he nearly snagged two TD grabs in the end zone on two separate drives and just missed out on a massive game, so he's flown under the radar. But he should absolutely be in the streaming discussion despite the tougher matchup this week because he can be a potential TE1 the rest of the way.
Kicker: Younghoe Koo, Atlanta Falcons
Matchup: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Ownership: 5%
Koo is the ideal streamer who has fallen into our laps for Week 12. The Falcons have the second-highest team total and he's kicking inside (which is a huge bonus in November).
He doesn't have much of a track record in the NFL, but has made 7-of-8 (87.5%) attempts this season. And while that's too small of a sample size to conclude anything other than he's at least a league average kicker, that's all we need in this spot.
Defense: Cleveland Browns
Matchup: vs. Miami Dolphins
Ownership: 49%
The Browns will be the most sought after DEF this week with the home matchup against Miami. While they'll be without Myles Garrett after his controversial unnecessary roughness on Thursday Night Football, it’s not enough to turn me away from the Browns in this spot.
If you're fighting to make the playoffs, are pretty deep at RB/WR and have some FAAB to spend, it makes sense to put a small bid in for the Browns. I rarely bid more than $1 for a DEF, but you can here if you happen to be in a situation that warrants it.
Deeper Leagues: Titans (16% owned) vs. Jaguars
