Fantasy football managers were wondering whether Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis, who is suffering from an ankle injury, would be able to gut it out on Monday night.
Well, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Davis is not expected to play against the Titans, putting fantasy football managers in quite the pickle.
In theory, this is actually a better scenario as we wouldn't really know how limited Davis would be if active, but that's assuming you have a good backup option.
So if you're looking for a replacement for Davis on Monday night, here's where the Action Network's fantasy football experts analyze whether to start Isaiah McKenzie or Jamison Crowder.
Fantasy Football Advice: Isaiah McKenzie or Jamison Crowder?
According to the Action Network's updated fantasy football Week 2 rankings, McKenzie currently sits as WR63, making him the preferred backup option for Davis.
McKenzie reeled in four catches for 88 yards and one touchdown in Buffalo's Week 1 win over the Rams, so there's plenty of volume to go around in this offense even before the assumed target share he'll see tonight.
Crowder, on the other hand, is listed at WR82 in our fantasy football rankings, well behind McKenzie.
Crowder isn't nearly as good of a replacement as McKenzie, but the former Washington Commander and New York Jet did see four targets in Week 1, so he's not the worst option if you're a desperate fantasy football manager on Monday night.
