George Kittle Player Props: 3 Prop Picks for Super Bowl
It seems like 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan isn’t worried about George Kittle's injury status to go this Sunday, so neither should we.
I'm on the over for his receptions total of 3.5. We’ve seen tight ends average 4.8 receptions per game against the Chiefs, even if they haven’t been able to do much damage in terms of yardage.
Kittle's covered this line in two of his last four games and he has a season average of 3.9 receptions per game. We can be confident in him hitting this given that he’s clearly a target that Brock Purdy likes and will try to involve.

I'm also going to take the over on Kittle’s longest reception at a modest line of 21.5. The Chiefs are relatively good against tight ends, but one thing we’ve seen from Kittle this year is that he often makes big plays.
He’s gone over this line in six of his last seven games and he generally seems to be able to rip off one big play per game (at least), using his size and skill set to create mismatches.

This might seem to go in the opposite direction of my previous picks, but I like the under on 51.5 receiving yards. I think we’re likely to see one big play from Kittle, but a number of receptions for short yardage.
As great as Kittle is, he’s the fourth-most explosive player on the Niners offense. I think we’ll see more of Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk than we do the big tight end on Sunday night. I just can't see Kittle having a monster game.
