The Colts (7-8) and Giants (2-13) will face off in NFL Week 17 at 1 p.m. EST from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The game will be broadcast live on FOX and can be streamed on platforms like YouTube TV.

The Colts won 38-30 over the Titans last week to keep their playoff hopes alive. Jonathan Taylor ran for 218 yards and 3 touchdowns, and he'll be the focal point again today with Anthony Richardson out and Joe Flacco in at quarterback. The Giants, meanwhile, lost their 10th straight game last week against the Falcons. New York is poised to have the No. 1 pick in the draft if it keeps losing, which looks likely with Drew Lock under center.

Let's get into my Giants vs Colts predictions and NFL picks.

The Colts are 7.5-point favorites over the Giants with the game total set at 40.5 points scored (-110o / -110u). The Colts are -410 favorites on the moneyline to win outright, while the Giants are +320 to pull off the upset.

Colts vs. Giants Prediction

Spread

It may be ugly, but I'm backing the Giants against the spread. That said, it's more of a fade of the Colts than anything else.

Moneyline

While I like the Giants against the spread, I certainly would not recommend backing this New York squad on the moneyline.

Over/Under

I do not see value on the total in this matchup.

My Pick: Giants +7.5

Indianapolis Colts vs. New York Giants Preview

No one is going to like this. It sucks, and I’m not going to act like I’m excited to back the Giants. I apologize for putting this in your life.

Drew Lock is at least going to start, which is much better than the alternative of Tim Boyle, who might be the worst quarterback in the NFL. That’s a boost for this Giants offense entering Week 17.

Lock is bad. Again, I’m not going to make you think otherwise.

In a matchup like this, I’d much rather take the points.

Also, the Colts season could be over by the time this game starts. If the Chargers beat the Patriots and the Broncos beat the Bengals, Indianapolis will be eliminated from playoff contention. At that point, I’m not convinced the Colts wouldn’t come out flat and play their worst game of the season.

Lock has already brought me one of the most dramatic wins of the season when he got a Giants cover against the Saints three weeks ago on a 2-point conversion with 4:11 left in the game. I’m going to bet New York and hope he gives me another positive memory.

Simply put, I cannot get to the number, regardless of who is under center for the Colts. I’m going to bet on the Giants with the knowledge that it’s the right side of the game to be on.

My Pick: Giants +7.5
