This article contains predictions for an old game.

The Indianapolis Colts (2-3) and Tennessee Titans (1-3) will kick off the NFL Week 6 Sunday afternoon slate. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET from Nissan Stadium in Nashville on CBS. The game can be streamed on Paramount+, YouTube TV and other streaming platforms.

The Titans are consensus 2.5-point favorites over the Colts on the spread (Titans -2.5), with the over/under currently set at 43. Tennessee is -150 to win outright on the moneyline, while Indianapolis is -125 to pull off the upset.

The Colts lost 37-34 to the Jaguars last week. Joe Flacco performed very well in place of Anthony Richardson with 359 passing yards and three touchdowns. The Titans are coming off of their bye week. Tennessee got its first win of the season in its last game, beating the Dolphins 31-12.

Let's get into my Colts vs. Titans prediction and my NFL picks and predictions for Week 6.

Colts vs. Titans Expert Picks

Spread

I'm betting on Tennessee laying 2.5 points at home. I think the Titans defense will give the Colts offense fits, and I don't trust Anthony Richardson.

Moneyline

I'm not betting the moneyline. My bet is only on the spread.

Over/Under

I'm in line with the game total for this one.

My pick: Titans -2.5

Colts vs. Titans NFL Week 6

I bet on the Titans in the first three games of the season — they covered in their fourth. Naturally, I did not bet on them in that game.

It’s time for me to win a Titans bet this season.

This is a good spot for the Titans coming off of their bye week. Tennessee has so many new pieces on offense, whether it’s on the line, in the backfield or among the receiving corps. The bye came at a good time for the coaching staff to figure some things out.

Now, we get a Colts team that is going to be playing their second straight road game. Also, the defense will be gassed.

Indianapolis’ defense has been on the field as much as any team over the past 25 years through this point in the season, and it’s still dealing with a number of injuries.

Not only that, but this is a simple, static and overall bad unit. The Titans have had two weeks to prepare for it.

Indy will bring a ton of pressure and isn’t going to play much man defense. If Will Levis does get the start here, he has been better in his career so far against zone compared to man coverage, so it’s a decent matchup. I’d prefer Mason Rudolph because there would be a smaller chance of a catastrophic mistake – or two, or three.

At this point, though, if Levis is healthy enough to start and makes one of those mistakes, I think Titans head coach Brian Callahan will have a quick leash.

I didn't think that that was a possibility in the past, but after the Titans beat the Dolphins in Week 4 after Rudolph played in relief of Levis, I think the chances of Levis getting benched have increased.

For the Colts, if you look at EPA plus completion percentage over expectation, the only two quarterbacks in the NFL who are in the negative are Bryce Young and Anthony Richardson – Richardson's 32nd and Bryce Young's 33rd. Levis is 20th.

Richardson has not been accurate, and he simply hasn’t been good in the NFL.

I think this Titans defense will give him problems. I just don't trust him to make the throws, and the rushing attack should be neutered with some key injuries on the Colts offense.

Pick: Titans -2.5
