This article contains predictions for an old game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4) and Chicago Bears (3-2) kick off the NFL Week 6 Sunday slate with the second NFL London Game of the season. Kickoff is set for 9:30 a.m. ET from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on NFL Network. The game can be streamed on YouTube TV and other streaming services.

The Jaguars are now consensus 1.5-point favorites over the Bears on the spread (Jaguars -1.5). Earlier this week, it was the Bears who were favored by 1.5, so this spread has moved. The over/under is currently set at 45 points. Jacksonville is a slight -117 favorite on the moneyline to win outright, with Chicago +100 to pull off the win.

In the latest injury news, Jaguars tight end Evan Engram is listed as active, as is WR Gabe Davis. The Bears are without CB Tyrique Stevenson.

The Jaguars won 37-34 over the Colts last week for their first win of the season. Trevor Lawrence thrived with 371 passing yards, while Tank Bigsby ran for 101 yards and scored two touchdowns. The Bears won 36-10 over the Panthers. Caleb Williams played the best game of his NFL career with 304 passing yards and two touchdown passes.

Let's get into my Jaguars vs. Bears predictions and my NFL picks for Sunday's NFL London matchup.

  • Jaguars vs. Bears spread: Jaguars -1.5
  • Jaguars vs. Bears over/under: 45 points
  • Jaguars vs. Bears moneyline: Jaguars -117, Bears -102
  • Jaguars vs. Bears best bet: Jaguars to cover the spread (+1.5)

Spread

I can't get to this line based on the Bears' recent performances and spreads in their last two games. I'm taking the Jaguars as a short underdog in London. However, keep in mind that as of the hours before kickoff, the Jags are now short favorites.

Moneyline

I'm not betting the moneyline here and keeping my bet on the spread.

Over/Under

I'm in line with the total for this game.

Prediction

My pick: Jaguars +1.5

My Bears vs. Jaguars best bet is on Jacksonville as a short underdog, although that line has moved against us significantly. For all of your NFL bets, be sure to find the best lines by using our live NFL odds page.

Jaguars vs. Bears NFL London Game

I imagine the entire world's going to be betting on the Bears, and that’s what our Public Betting report indicates.

For me, the two most overrated teams in the NFL in Week 6, just based on record and maybe perception, are the Buccaneers – because of their fluke win at the Lions and beating a banged-up Eagles team – and the Bears.

Chicago is 3-2 but could easily be 1-4.

I was wrong on the Panthers last week, but if you look at that game, the Panthers lost more defensive guys and two offensive linemen, which was the Panthers’ biggest strength. I would have liked Carolina this week again against the Falcons but need +7, because it has one really, really good aspect of its team, and that’s the offensive line. Two starters go down last week against the Bears, and they get blown out.

That was a good performance from the Bears, but they got extremely lucky against the Rams the week before, laying three and facing a practice-squad-level defense that they didn’t light up. Los Angeles, without Puka Nacua or Cooper Kupp and its best offensive line, outplayed Chicago and was a hard-luck loser.

The week before, the Bears lost on the road to the Colts. People said Caleb Williams showed improvement in that game, but his performance in Indy came against one of the worst defenses.

The Bears were favored by four over the Panthers and three over the Rams. So, with this line, we’re saying that Jacksonville is basically equal to a Carolina team that’s worse than that Rams practice squad.

I don’t think so.

Williams has struggled more against man coverage this season, and he’s going to see a lot of that here. The Jaguars defense isn’t great, but I’m not sold on the Bears offensive line and I think they’ll get pressure on Williams.

While I like that the Bears went over to England and practiced there all week, the Jaguars have more experience in this spot and their staff will have them ready to go. I’m on the Jags this week.

Pick: Jaguars +1.5
