The Jacksonville Jaguars (2-8) and Detroit Lions (8-1) face off in NFL Week 11. Kickoff is set for in 1 p.m. ET from Ford Field in Detroit. The game will be broadcast live on CBS and can be streamed on Paramount+, YouTube TV and other similar streaming platforms.

The Lions are favored by 14 points over the Jaguars (Lions -14) with the game total set at 47. Detroit is an -850 moneyline favorite to win outright, while Jacksonville is +575 to pull off the upset.

The Lions rallied and won 26-23 over the Texans last week. Jared Goff through five interceptions, but that didn’t stop Detroit from winning its seventh straight game. The Jaguars lost 12-7 to the Vikings last week. Mac Jones took over for Trevor Lawrence under center but only threw for 111 yards and added two interceptions.

Let's get into my Lions vs Jaguars predictions and NFL picks.

MyJaguars vs. Lions best bet is on Detroit. For all of your bets, be sure to find the best lines by using our live NFL odds page.

Spread

Normally, a spread this big would have bettors thinking the underdog is the right play. Well, not this matchup involving the Detroit Lions.

Head coach Dan Campbell has been a covering machine since taking over as Lions head coach, and double-digit spreads haven't slowed him down. I'm playing the trends and laying two touchdowns with the Lions.

Moneyline

I'm certainly not betting Jacksonville, and I have no interest in playing a 14-point favorite's moneyline.

Over/Under

I'm not betting this game's total.

My Pick: Lions -14 (-110)

Jaguars vs. Lions NFL Week 11 Preview

I probably don’t have to tell you that the Lions are the much, much better team here.

The Lions offense should have their way against a Jags defense that ranks 31st, according to DVOA, and dead last against the pass. Jared Goff threw five interceptions last week and Jacksonville got Sam Darnold to throw three last week.

This also is a great matchup for the Lions defense. That unit ranks third in the NFL, and the Jaguars offense has cratered. Now, it’ll be Mac Jones leading Jacksonville into its bye week on the road in a potentially hopeless situation.

The Lions have played two teams that I’d say are as “bad” as the Jaguars this season. They beat the Cowboys 47-9 and the Titans 52-14. Detroit has six wins by 12 or more points this season.

The Jaguars have given up 28 or more points five times this season, and the Lions have scored 30 or more four times. Detroit has scored 42 or more points three times this season.

Dan Campbell and Jared Goff together are covering machines. Playing indoor games with the Lions, Goff is 30-10 (75%) against the spread (ATS). As a favorite or four or more points, he’s 12-1 ATS and covers by 6.8 points per game.

Also, this is the year of the big favorite. Double-digit favorites are 4-0 ATS this season and are covering by 14 points per game.

In the futures market, Jaguars Under 5.5 wins (+125) is worth monitoring. I also might find other bets to fade Jacksonville and bet Detroit here.

My Pick: Lions -14 (-110)
