Rookie sensation Jayden Daniels sustained a rib injury in the first quarter of the Washington Commanders’ game against the Carolina Panthers. The quarterback was seen on the sideline having his chest examined by trainers midway through the first-quarter. He then took a few practice throws before slamming his helmet to the ground and walking back to the locker room. Fox Sports reported that he was undergoing X-Rays.
Head coach Dan Quinn addressed the injury heading into halftime, but didn't give any specifics to CBS's Evan Washburn.
