Week 1 of the NFL season comes to a close with Monday Night Football, as the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers face off at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, with kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC.

Beyond spread and total bets, I'm taking a look at Jets vs. 49ers player props — specifically anytime touchdown scorers for my Monday Night Football props.

Here are my two picks for Monday night's game between the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers.

George Kittle ATD +195

Kittle may be the only 49ers pass-catcher I can trust to score against the Jets’ defense. New York’s pass defense last year was extremely stingy to wide receivers, only allowing five touchdowns, which was first in the NFL.

The Jets are known for their extensive man coverage, which plays perfectly into George Kittle’s strengths. Kittle was graded as one of the best tight ends against man coverage. New York also gave up eight touchdowns to tight ends last season, which was tied for fifth most in the NFL.

If you’re not crazy about +195 odds, I understand. You can likely wait until closer to kickoff to get +200 or better.

Allen Lazard ATD +700

OK, I’m very aware that Allen Lazard only had one touchdown last season. However, it would be wise to throw out all of last season’s data at this stage.

Zach Wilson isn’t starting anymore and Lazard had a seamless connection with Aaron Rodgers during their time in Green Bay. In his final two seasons with the Packers, Lazard scored 14 touchdowns as the No. 2 receiver behind Davante Adams.

All reports out of Jets camp seem to suggest that Lazard is back to his old self. If Rodgers can stay healthy for more than four minutes, then look out. There will be a ton of attention on WR Garrett Wilson and RB Breece Hall, which can open the door for Lazard to get a few red-zone looks.

At +700, this is my favorite long-shot touchdown bet of the game.
