The NFL Week 7 Sunday slate concludes with the New York Jets (2-4) visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) at Acrisure Stadium for Sunday Night Football. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
There are storylines galore for this SNF matchup — notably the Steelers debut of Russell Wilson, who will reportedly get the nod over the resurgent Justin Fields. As for the Jets, well they brought in Aaron Rodgers' old friend in Davante Adams as they try to put an end to a three-game losing streak.
You can find my two anytime touchdown scorer picks for Jets vs. Steelers below.
Gilles Gallant's Jets vs. Steelers Touchdown Scorer Props
- Garrett Wilson Anytime Touchdown (+210; FanDuel)
- Jaylen Warren Anytime Touchdown (+410; FanDuel)
Wilson has scored a touchdown in three of the last four games and has eight red-zone targets over the past two games.
I understand that Davante Adams is now on the Jets, but he’s been in New York for five days. Simply put, I’m not sure how involved he’ll be in his first game.
Additionally, the Steelers play zone coverage at a top-six rate and Wilson has crushed zone defense this season. He also leads the Jets with a 26% target share.
I expect Adams to get some looks, but Wilson – at anything over +200 – is still decent value.
Warren is the Steelers’ 3rd-down back and will be up against a Jets defense that ranks 25th in defensive DVOA against the run and 25th in defensive DVOA against pass-catching running backs.
Russell Wilson may look downfield a bit, but he probably won’t have much success stretching the field and will likely need to check it down to his running backs.
On that note, Najee Harris has just 19 targets through six games and his target share should decrease with Warren back in the fold.
Harris is at +140 to score, so the better value is certainly on Warren.
