The Kansas City Chiefs may have lost to the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football, but they still cashed tickets for bettors.
Kansas City closed as a 4-point underdog to New England, meaning it covered the spread in its 43-40 loss, improving to 6-0 against the spread (ATS) on the season.
The Chiefs have already provided a nice profit of +5.86 units through six weeks, meaning bettors blindly wagering $100 on them each game would have already secured a nice profit of $586.
At 4-1 ATS, the Detroit Lions have the second-best against-the-spread record this season, followed by the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns, who all check in at 4-2 ATS.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Houston Texans have been the worst bet this season at 1-5 ATS, losing 4.06 units for bettors.
