Our betting analysts have made Falcons vs. Chiefs predictions for Sunday Night Football, which will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and streaming live on Peacock, YouTube TV and other streaming platforms.
The 2-0 Chiefs are 3-point favorites against the 1-1 Falcons (Chiefs -3). The over/under is 46.5 total points. The defending champion Chiefs are -167 money favorites to win outright. The Falcons are +141 underdogs to win outright and knock off Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce & Co.
Atlanta comes in off a game-winning touchdown drive from Cousins in the Falcons' 22-21 Week 2 win over the Eagles. Mahomes and the Super Bowl champs are undefeated, but they easily could have lost either game in close 27-20 and 26-25 wins.
We have expert picks on the spread, total and a player prop. Let's dive into our NFL predictions and Sunday Night Football picks for Week 3.

Back Patrick Mahomes in prime time? Yes, I would love to.
This number seems like it is squeezed a bit after the Falcons beat the Eagles and the Chiefs struggled a bit against the Bengals. However, the Chiefs have already beat two top AFC teams this season and should take care of business against the Falcons easily.
Although K.C. is going to be without Isiah Pacheco, that could force it to throw more, which seems like a good idea with the greatest QB of all time at the helm.
Pick: Chiefs -3 (-115)
Over/Under
This total has slowly dropped below the key numbers of 47 and 48, which I believe is a mistake.
For all of the mishaps and doubts about the Falcons and Chiefs offenses, both rank in the top 12 on a yards-per-play basis, and there's optimism for both moving forward. Kansas City is only 5-of-17 on third downs this season and is likely to improve there.
While Isiah Pacheco's absence would hurt the Chiefs offense on first glance, a more pass-happy K.C. attack has consistently translated to a more dangerous offense. It's the reason why there have been countless games in which the Chiefs were able to erase deficits at a rate unforeseen in league history, yet they become an extremely pass-heavy offense and usually leads to an abundance of points in their comeback efforts.
This game will be played indoors, somewhere Mahomes has only done 15 times in his career. He's averaged more than 300 yards passing per game in those contests and has thrown 35 touchdowns to just four interceptions.
The Kansas City defense has forced just one three-and-out this season and has allowed opponents to score on 50% of possessions this season. Kirk Cousins clearly felt more comfortable in his second outing, and the offense should absolutely feel more confident after their fourth-quarter touchdown drive giving them the win over the Eagles.
Pick: Over 46.5 (-110)

I don't love the matchup, but I do love the game environment. This game has a three-point spread and a 46.5-point total, meaning it should be a close, high-scoring game.
It's being played in Atlanta, so Drake London gets to play in a dome. The Chiefs pass defense is good, but Kirk Cousins showed us last week that he's still a good NFL quarterback and is by far the best that London has ever played with.
After a tough Week 1, London had a 25% target share in Week 2 and is the clear go-to guy in this offense. I have the true odds on London around +160.
Pick: Drake London ATD (+210)
