The Lions (1-1) face the Cardinals (1-1) in Week 3 of the NFL season with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m. ET at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Here's an early look at the Lions vs. Cardinals odds, spread and total for this Sunday afternoon matchup.

The Lions are favored by 3 points over the Cardinals in the latest NFL odds for Week 3, with the over/under set at 52.5.

Detroit Lions

Detroit enters the game 1-1 after being upset Sunday by the Buccaneers. The third-highest scoring team in the league a year ago was held to just 16 points. However, Amon-Ra St. Brown’s 11-catch, 119-yard performance was encouraging as he wasn’t involved much in the season-opener. Defensively, the Lions have been terrific against the run. They’ve allowed just 76.5 yards per game, which is fourth-best in the NFL.

Arizona Cardinals

Arizona bounced back from a loss in Buffalo to drub the Rams in Week 2, 41-10. Kyler Murray was marvelous, completing 17-of-21 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns for a perfect 158.3 passer rating. The biggest story for the Cardinals, though, was the play of Marvin Harrison Jr. after he was held to one catch for four yards in his professional debut. He caught four passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns with both of his scores coming in the first-quarter.
