Sunday Night Football Week 10 serves up a chance to see the Detroit Lions (7-1) take on the Houston Texans (6-3) in primetime. Kickoff from NRG Stadium in Houston is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

The Lions are 3.5-point favorites over the Texans (Lions -3.5) with a game total of 50 points scored. With a total that high, it makes sense I'm betting two overs and two touchdown scorers.

Let's get to my Lions vs. Texans props, which include NFL picks for Amon-Ra St. Brown, Tank Dell, Jahmyr Gibbs and more.

Lions vs. Texans Player Props

  • Tank Dell Over 62.5 Receiving Yards (-115, DraftKings)
  • Jahmyr Gibbs Over 61.5 Rushing Yards (-110, BetMGM)
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown Anytime Touchdown (+120, FanDuel)
  • John Metchie Anytime Touchdown (+700, BetMGM)

Tank Dell Player Prop Pick

Only three teams have given up more passing yards per game than the Lions, which bodes well for CJ Stroud, even with so many receiving options injured. It means that Tank Dell should be primed for a very big day.

Last week against the Jets, it was clear that Stroud wasn’t scared of consistently feeding Dell, and his six receptions were more than the rest of the team combined. He then turned that into 126 yards, something he very may well do again here.

In the past two weeks alone we’ve see Jayden Reed and Calvin Ridley rack up 100+ receiving yards against this Lions’ defense, and with Dell getting a high volume of targets, he’s should have plenty enough opportunity to go for Over 62.5 receiving yards.

Jahmyr Gibbs Player Prop Pick

Heading into this game, Jahmry Gibbs’ rushing yard line stands at 61.5. It’s an interesting line for a number of reasons. Firstly, the Texans are good but not great against the run, and have averaged 114.2 yards allowed per game on the ground.

Secondly, we’ve seen Gibbs go over this mark in every game this season besides the opener, in which he rushed for 40 yards against the Rams. He’s had 100+ rushing yards in two of the past three games, and should be in line for another big performance this Sunday.

Amon-Ra St Brown Player Prop Pick

The Texans have given up 14 touchdowns to wide receivers in their opening nine games of the season. For context, only one team has given up more than that, which is the Baltimore Ravens. Amon-Ra St Brown is one of the very best wideouts in the league and a crucial part of the Lions’ offense.

Amon-Ra has scored touchdowns in each of his past six games and continues to be somebody that Jared Goff looks for. He’s had 11 targets in the red zone this season, which is more than all the other WRs on the Lions’ roster combined. He will get looks, as he’s shown throughout the season, he shouldn't have too much trouble finding the end zone.

John Metchie Player Prop Pick

The final selection here is a bit more speculative, but if you’re looking for a long shot anytime touchdown scorer, then John Metchie is your man. The former Alabama man is yet to really establish himself as a key part of this offense, but with Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs out, there is now opportunity.

The Lions defense hasn’t been hugely effective against slot receivers this season, somewhere we’ll frequently see Metchie line up. He hasn't been on the field much, but has already quietly racked up three red zone targets this season, and offers a big payout for a score at +700.
