The Los Angeles Chargers (7-4) and Atlanta Falcons (6-5) meet in NFL Week 13 at 1 p.m. ET from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The game will be broadcast live on CBS and can be streamed on Paramount+ or YouTube TV.
The Chargers are favored by 1 point with the game total set at 47 points scored. The Chargers are -120 favorites to win outright, while the Falcons are +100 to pull off the upset.
Let's get into my Chargers vs. Falcons picks and NFL picks.
The Chargers lost 30-23 to the Ravens on Monday Night Football to snap their four-game winning streak. Justin Herbert only averaged 6.1 yards per attempt and was sacked four times. The Falcons are coming off their bye week and have lost two straight. Two weeks ago, Atlanta lost 38-6 in Denver and only gained 226 yards of offense.
Chargers vs. Falcons Prediction
Spread
I'll take the point here with Atlanta.
The Chargers defense is a good matchup for Kirk Cousins. I think Los Angeles' unit is slightly overrated given the level of competition it faced early in the season.
I'll take whatever points (or point) on the Falcons.
My Pick: Falcons +1
Moneyline
I prefer to take whatever points I can get with Atlanta instead of betting its moneyline.
Over/Under
I have no projection on this game total, although it could be a high-scoring affair.

Chargers vs. Falcons Preview
First off, this is a brutal scheduling spot for the Chargers.
They played the Ravens on Monday Night Football in Los Angeles, travel across the country to face the Falcons on Sunday and then go to Kansas City to play the Chiefs next week.
The Chargers are dealing with a number of injuries. The key one is running back J.K. Dobbins, who has been ruled out due to a knee injury he suffered against the Ravens.
That’s big for the Falcons, who don’t create any pressure off the edge but can through the middle. The Chargers’ elite pair of offensive tackles — Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater — take the edge rushers away.
While Justin Herbert has come on in recent weeks, his offensive weapons are still pretty underwhelming.
We thought second-year wideout Quentin Johnston was coming around, but he put up a donut on Monday night against a Ravens defense that is below average against the pass.
Herbert has one reliable weapon on the outside in rookie Ladd McConkey and will now be facing a Falcons secondary that’s getting healthier.
Atlanta was without basically its entire starting secondary in its blowout loss against the Broncos before the bye, so that will be a big boost.
On the other side of the ball, Kirk Cousins should be able to operate from a pretty clean pocket.
The Chargers defense generally drops back into coverage and doesn’t put the opposing quarterback under a lot of pressure, which is ideal for the statuesque Cousins. His splits when under pressure compared to a clean pocket are drastic.
I’m not sold on a Chargers defense that started the season playing some of the worst offenses in the NFL. We’ve learned much more about Los Angeles over the past two weeks, when it struggled against the Bengals and Ravens.
I think Cousins will be able to cook and believe this is a great buy-low spot on Atlanta.
My Pick: Falcons +1 (-110)
